How can we help

Frequently asked questions

Everything people ask us most often, in one place: how ordering works, how long a piece takes to reach you, what it is made of, and how to put it together.

No question matches that search. Write to us at hello@demontha.com and a person will answer you directly.

Orders

Everything we make is on this site, with dimensions and finish options on each product page. Pick your piece, add it to the cart and check out. You get a confirmation email straight away and a tracking link as soon as the order leaves the workshop, and you can look an order up any time on the order tracking page.

Yes. Guest checkout is open on every order; all we need is an email address for the receipt and the delivery updates. An account is optional and only makes it easier to find past orders later.

Email hello@demontha.com with your order number and tell us what you would like to change. Every piece is built after it is ordered, so we can cancel or adjust anything before yours goes into production. Write to us as soon as you can and we will confirm the change by email.

Shipping and delivery

Shipping is free on every order, with no minimum to reach and no rate to discover at the last step. We deliver to Alaska and Hawaii as well; those orders ship free too, but the transit runs a few days longer.

Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting for you, so the clock starts when you order. Production takes 10 business days, and delivery inside the United States takes another 3 to 5 business days on top of that. Figure on two to three weeks from checkout to your door. We email the tracking link the moment the carton ships.

Materials and making

Not right now. We build only the models and dimensions listed on this site, which is what keeps the fit exact and the lead time at 10 business days. If you are caught between two sizes, send us the measurements of your room and we will tell you which piece actually works.

Solid beech, throughout. It is a dense hardwood that holds a joint under load and takes a clean surface, which is what makes a piece worth taking apart and rebuilding. Upholstered pieces come in 22 fabric colors, split between linen and velvet.

No varnish. Every wood surface is finished with natural oils and beeswax, which sink into the grain rather than sitting on top as a plastic film. The result is matte and warm, it still feels like wood under your hand, and it can be refreshed at home years from now instead of being stripped and redone.

Warranty and returns

Yes, a 2-year warranty that runs from the date on your invoice. If a part turns up faulty or missing, we send the replacement within 10 to 15 business days at no charge. Damage you cause during assembly is not covered by the warranty, but tell us anyway and we will work out how to fix it.

You have 14 days from delivery to send a piece back, as long as neither the furniture nor its packaging has been damaged. Open the carton carefully and hold on to it: a return has to travel in its original packaging. Email hello@demontha.com and we will set up the pickup.

Email hello@demontha.com with your order number and a couple of photos. We ship the replacement parts to you, so a scuffed panel never means boxing up the whole piece and sending it back across the country.

Assembly

We do not, and that is deliberate: the furniture is built so you never need one. A piece goes together by hand in minutes, with no tools required, so there is no appointment to schedule and nobody to wait around for.

Yes, and it is far easier than the flat-pack furniture you are picturing. Every part is numbered and the illustrated guide in the carton takes you through it step by step. Most pieces are standing in a few minutes, with no tools required.

Write to hello@demontha.com or call +1 307 998 9036 and we will talk you through the step you are on. A photo of where you have got to is usually the fastest way for us to see the problem.

That is the whole idea. Our furniture is designed to come apart and go back together as many times as you need, and it holds its original strength every time. Moving apartments or rearranging a room stops being a reason to give a piece away.

Care

Keep it dry whenever you can: a soft, dry cloth is all most surfaces ever need. When something needs more, use a cleaner made for wood furniture, wipe spills as they happen and do not leave standing water on a surface. Linen and velvet covers can be spot-cleaned with a barely damp cloth.
